How we think as experts
We don’t choose products based on old motorcycle myths. Today, modern textiles can be as abrasion-resistant or stronger than leather thanks to materials like Kevlar, Aramid, Dyneema and Cordura. Real safety comes from:
- CE ratings (A, AA, AAA)
- Armour levels (Level 1 and Level 2)
- Correct armour placement close to the body
- Gear that works in real riding conditions – rain, heat, wind
That’s why we focus on fit, function and real-world safety – not old assumptions.

FAQ – Women’s motorcycle gear
Is leather safer than textile?
Not always. Modern textile with Kevlar, Aramid or Dyneema can match or exceed leather in abrasion tests. What matters most is the CE rating and how well the armour stays in place.
Which CE rating should I choose?
AA is the most common choice for touring and commuting. AAA offers the highest level of protection and is often used in more protective or sport-oriented gear.
How should motorcycle gear fit?
Armour should sit close to your body and not move when you ride or change position on the bike.
What works best in the rain – leather or textile?
Textile with membranes like Gore-Tex, Dryway or Hydratex works best in the rain. Leather needs more care and is not naturally waterproof.
Can I mix different brands?
Yes. We help you match fit, function and style so your whole setup works together.
