The Alpinestars Tech-Air® 5 Plasma is a self-contained airbag vest weighing only 1,530g – over 25% lighter than the usual Tech-Air® 5.

It is designed to be worn discreetly under a jacket with an ultra-slim profile that does not restrict movement.

The protection covers the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders, featuring an integrated PLASMA back protector made from an eco-friendly, breathable, and shock-absorbing material.

The system has a new AI algorithm with three riding modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD, and RACE, which can be toggled directly via LED display – even with gloves on.

The airbag activates in 20-40 milliseconds and is user-replaceable with a quick gas canister (up to 6 replacements).

Bluetooth connectivity to the Tech-Air® app provides access to battery status, system updates, ride data, and mapping features.

Battery life: up to 30 hours.
